Billy Elkins is a professional photographer, graphic designer and instructor. His dynamic way of teaching and adapting to his individual students' learning styles provides a profound learning experience like no other.

Originally from New Smyrna Beach and a graduate of Daytona State College, Billy relocated to Sarasota, Florida, in 1995. He began his career at a local service bureau and large-format printing company. In 2000, Billy started his graphic design business and also provided custom Photoshop classes. From 2005-2013, he worked at a full-service commercial photography studio. This led to the addition of photography which complemented his graphic design projects, as well as, continuing to provide individual and group classes in photography and post-processing.
Billy is a member of Professional Photographers of America, (PPA) and Nikon Professional Services (NPS), He is an Adobe Certified Professional and also serves as an Adobe Customer Advisor. Over the years, he has been a leader of Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk events, co-organized Help-Portrait events, and has been asked to speak at numerous photography workshops and schools.
